Marino Associates has its principle office located at 301 Wharton Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The office is staffed with skilled trial lawyers and support members prepared to work with clients on the legal issues that they encounter. The firm found its origin as a result of the union of Steven F. Marino, Esquire and The Honorable Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Kevin M. Dougherty. Mr. Marino and Justice Dougherty came to meet when working as Assistant District Attorneys in the Office of the Philadelphia County District Attorney.  Determined to develop talented trial skills and pioneer an aggressive law firm to defend against injustice in 1994, they established the law firm of Marino & Dougherty, LLP.

Since the inception of Marino & Dougherty, LLP, Kevin M. Dougherty now serves as one of Pennsylvania’s Supreme Court Justices. In compliance with the Rules of Professional Responsibility, the firm changed its name to Marino Associates.  Steven F. Joseph Auddino joined the firm in 2016 after serving as an Assistant DA with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office.   Trial attorney Joseph Auddino has been selected to the Super Lawyers 2021 Pennsylvania Rising Stars list, an honor reserved for those lawyers who exhibit excellence in practice; few attorneys in Pennsylvania receive this distinction.

Over the last 5 years, Marino Associates has successfully handled several personal injury suits involving abuse allegations at Philadelphia reform schools , including the highly publicized case involving the death of a student at Wordsworth Academy.  The firm has also concentrated its efforts on high profile defamation and libel suits.
